Our Vision: To empower students to create positive futures

Ardtornish Primary School is an R-6 school of approximately 500 students which provides excellent programmes in a diverse range of areas such as music, ICT, science, and sport, as well as access to a wide range of extra-curricula activities. Explore our Special Programs page. OSHC
By working closely with the Ardtornish Children's Centre we provide a smooth transition between preschool and school. Parents, of foundation/reception students, are invited to visit our Phonics and Foundation Literacy page, under the 'Teaching and Learning' menu, to learn how we use the "Read Write Inc," synthetic phonics program, to support each child to quickly and enjoyably develop their reading and writing skills. The school has just undergone a $5 million dollar update of its buildings. |
Our School Values - Be Kind - Aim High - Show Respect - Bounce Back
We develop students' social skills, creativity, problem solving, self confidence and ability to access and process knowledge.
We provide a safe, happy, caring, supportive and positive environment in which children develop empathy for others, responsibility, and a strong desire to learn and achieve. Our school is committed to fostering parent/teacher relationships that enhance the learning opportunities available to students and believes that teachers and parents are partners in education.
