ATSI Support through the ACEO Role
At Ardtornish our 'Aboriginal Community Education Officer', is Zena Buckskin. Zena is employed to support ATSI students and in her role she:
As a proud Narungga and Kaurna Descendant, Zena is passionate about teaching and learning and is a student at the University of South Australia, where she is undertaking a Bachelor of Education Early Childhood. Previously she worked for the Departments Regulation and Compliance Team for 9 years and, as a member of the Learning Together Team, she was a fieldworker and a Playgroup facilitator. Hence she brings a wide variety of skills and experiences to the ACEO role. Zena will be available all day on Mondays and Thursdays.
