Attendance and Reporting Absences
Children must be in class at 8.50 am and remain in class until 3.00 pm.
We are required to record all absences, late arrivals and early collection, along with the reasons.
If your child is absent from school for any reason, please phone on 8264 809 or text messages to: 0447 467 152 on the day or send a note to the class teacher the following day.
This is process is important as reasons for all absences must be recorded in the class roll books.
If an illness is more serious and requires several days away, please contact the school so we can inform the class teacher.
The Principal has the authority to grant exemption for longer term absences e.g. travel, interstate holidays etc.
A request form, to grant permission for your child to be absent from school, is available from the front office so you can obtain the Principal's approval in advance.
Exemption for 1 month or longer must be approved by the District Office.
